Algoma 7809BL wheel kit for model #4780 hammock stand.
Not as pictured – B-52 Flyer – USA
This hammock stand wheel kit didn’t arrive as pictured. It is actually configured with two bolts on either side that are extremely difficult to tighten (instead of the one bolt on top as depicted). The wheels and axle are in the way so using any wrench underneath is nearly impossible.
Be aware, this kit is intended for a specific hammock stand. This kit is for a narrow tube frame, much smaller then my hammock stand’s. Because of the size of my stand’s frame legs, the wheels don’t extend downward far enough from the frame to touch the ground. I had to mount the wheels pretty close to the tip of the stand to be of any use. Even there, I end up lifting the other end of the hammock several feet to be able to wheel it around.
In fairness, this kit probably works if you have the angled and narrow gauge frame like the one in the photo, assuming you can get the bolts tightened.
